Reviews and Ratings
My experience at the Bear Mountain Lodge was quite the rollercoaster. The location is beautiful, nestled in a stunning park, and the brunch was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of dishes. However, my room left much to be desired—especially the bathroom, which was way too cramped. If you're looking for a scenic getaway, this place has its highs and lows, but overall, it's worth a visit for that Sunday brunch alone.
During my stay, I found the Lodge to be a cozy and updated historic property with a wonderfully Adirondack-style room and a spacious bathroom. I appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. However, the absence of hot water in the shower and late opening hours for the cafe limited my breakfast options, which affected my overall experience.
The hotel is set in an idyllic location with beautiful scenery, but my stay was marred by several issues. The walls were extremely thin, making it hard to get a good night's sleep, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the common area. The lack of amenities and the shared fridge created an uncomfortable experience for the price I paid.
My stay was quite a mixed bag. The setting is seriously idyllic, but I found the experience subpar due to thin walls and a frustrating booking system. While I enjoyed the dining options and friendly staff, the room situation was a major letdown, along with limited amenities. Overall, it felt like the hotel could use some serious improvements to live up to its potential.
Our stay was quite a letdown despite the beautiful resort appearance. The rooms were far from ideal, especially with thin walls and a broken coffee maker. While dinner at the restaurant was excellent, the noise and cleanliness issues really took away from our experience. Additionally, the added fees for pets seem excessive now. Overall, it feels like they might be prioritizing profit over guest experience.
